• Vitamin C is a very volatile molecule.  The version used here is sodium ascorbyl phosphate which is gentler to the skin and more stable.  It protects against free radical damage and promotes collagen production.  This vitamin is an essential nutrient required for the growth and repair of tissues in all parts of the body, including the skin, but we cannot produce it on our own.  It is also a necessary cofactor for building collagen bundles.
